Clutch is the leading ratings and reviews platform for IT, marketing, and business service providers. Each month, over half a million buyers and sellers of services use the Clutch platform, and the user base is growing over 50% a year.

The Clutch 1000 is the firm’s most exclusive award, representing only the top 1% of companies listed on the site.

What a year it has been… Local businesses have been among those hit the hardest by this pandemic.

Forced to be both resilient and adaptive in the face of the novel coronavirus, 2020 brought unexpected challenges (opportunities) to our team, and our clients.

After a rollercoaster of highs and lows, we wanted to recap a few of YYC3’s 2020 Highlights!

1. Welcome, Natalie!

In February 2020 our local marketing team welcomed Natalie Mckay to work on the content and community side of our business where she manages numerous business profiles including posting content and engaging with community members.

2. It’s a vibe

It only took a pandemic for us to finally [re]start our Instagram feed… and we think the third time was a charm! We used some of the “free time” the first lockdown created to update our #instalook #instavibe #instaaesthetic with a content strategy that truly captures our essence, and takes advantage of new features and updates launched by the platform.

3. Passion Project

If you told us online course development would turn into a core part of our business in 2020 we may not have believed you, but we’re sure happy it’s true. Helping Jody Stoski put wheels on her passion project, an online Paramedical Tattoo Academy, was most definitely a highlight of our year. We believe in her mission to help people heal and feel confident in their own skin, and we’re honored she trusted us with her baby! Writing and designing hundreds of slides, filming and editing dozens of videos, marketing and advertising to hit sales goals… Our passion is truly helping others pursue and succeed with theirs.

4. New Logo, who dis?

We love brand development and had hoped we’d have the opportunity to design more logos in 2020. Thank you to those entrepreneurs and business owners who afforded us the chance to do so, creating your brands from scratch – or refreshing dated brandstyle to make it modern.

5. New house, who dis?

Arguably the most exciting of all… WE GOT NEW HEADQUARTERS!

1727 13 Avenue SW Calgary is where we call home. Conveniently located just outside the heart of downtown in Sunalta, enjoy street parking when you visit us.

Take the door on the right up the stairs to have a meeting in our Boardroom where we love brainstorming new marketing and advertising strategies as a team.

Down the hall visit the office of Raquel and Natalie, or the office of Hayley where she finally has that massive monitor that’s a tab hoarders dream come true!

Have a coffee or lunch with us in the kitchen, and get some kisses from Al, Hazelnut, or Stoney, our furry friends.

Last but not least, tell us you love our jungle wallpaper bathroom as much as we do and take that selfie in the mirror #yycthree.
