It was so cool to be part of San Francisco Pride last weekend and it got me thinking about the concept of pride as related to digital marketing strategies & content creation.
Social media is an opportunity for a business to showcase what they are most proud of.
• What are your unique qualities and skills?
• What are your latest accomplishments?
• Who’s on your team?
• What and who are you associated with?
The concept of pride also reminded me of something I asked a junior team member when discussing quality over quantity and being proud of the content we create and promote:
Would you be comfortable reading your last 10 tweets out loud in front of 50 people?
The answer of course should always be yes. That’s how much pride you should take in yourself, your brand, and the content you are delivering.
